Kids and Critters

scarecrows

We drove out to Lumsdun one weekend to take a look at their scarecrows. they had a festival out there a couple of weekends before with scarecrows and pumpkin toss. we couldn't make it that weekend so we just went out to see if there were any scarecrows still around. we were able to find a few.

Jay's Birthday

we didn' t do to much for Jay's birthday, had cake and gifts. he got a poker set(he really enjoyed playing it in the Hat) and then a fog machine that he could use to make his halloween decorations even spookier.

thanksgiving weekend

we went out to medicine Hat for the weekend. we had a good time visiting with those that we could. a weekend is too short to see everyone

We went down to visit with Aunt Loraine and Uncle Arnold at weyburn. it was a nice visit but very short.

SSS SNAKE!!

Jay found a little snake in the yard, and caught it to show the kids. Zander thought it was cool but only at a distance. I was quite surpised that Ember wanted to hold it.

the fair

This year Zander was old enough to go on some of the rides. he tried the swings, carasel, a small roller coaster, but his favorite was the fun houses. where you walk on the ground moves, and the funny mirrors, the maze of glass etc.

Ember was big enough this year to try some of the adult rides, she tried the gravitron, and few others, her favorite one was the polar express ( you go around really fast backwards in a circle)

This year I decieded to be brave and go on the faris wheel, in kid land. It was the first time for me. I really don't like rides at all.
