Dying Eggs

We had Nicholas and Hudson over to decorate easter eggs. It was nice enough that we went out side so it was a lot easier to clean up.

Zander's Birthday

Safari Jeff and Shanon

Sarfari Jeff and Shanon were at one of the malls today, doing a show about animals. Jay and I took the kids along with two of Ember's friends, Nicholas and Hudson. They all liked it but they didn't like the twenty minute wait for the show to start.




This is a small croc, he will only grow to be about 4 ft.













This is a rat snake. he lives in the trees and shakes his tail in the leaves to make a sound like a rattle snake.












this is an albino bull snake. This snakes are found in Canada. He lives under ground and his head is shaped like a shovel so he can dig thru the dirt.














These are some kind of toads that are poisonous. their names were tic and tac.











This is a snaping turtle. He can't go inside of his shell when he is scared. He lives in the water.

this is father time, a tortoise. he is having a snack, he also likes banana's.














These are monkey tail skinks. they can use their tails to hold on to things.











This is Mr. Evergreen. Zander loved seeing this guy.














This is an alligator. All the kids got to touch him after the show was done. Ember said he felt bumpy.








Ember said the snake felt a little bumpy and smooth, but not slimy.

Piano Lessons

Jay picked up a free piano just after christmas, and Ember loves it. She knows how to play three songs already. She will pretend that she is a music teacher and give lessons to Zander or her toys.

being helpful ???

I was busy with Zane, when I noticed Zander was up to something. The kids love to play on my bed all the time so when I couldn't see him I just assumed he was in my room. I started to think he had more than playing on his mind when he came out to the kitchen and got a meauring cup out of the drawer. I followed him to see what he was up to. He thought the fish needed their bowl cleaned. He was sure that he could catch them with the measuring cup.

Super Kids

The kids love to run around with a blanket tied on to act as a cape, but the cape always falls off before the are done playing. Grandma was really nice and made them capes, which the kids love.

Making Pancakes

I had both Ember and Zander helping me make pancakes. They each took turns putting the stuff in the bowl, some of it made it in the bowl, a lot on the counter and a little on them. They had a lot of fun, Ember likes to crack the egg and Zander loved the mixer, he didn't want to stop mixing. I had to unplug it and even then he was trying to figure out how to get i working again.
