Busy but good day

yesterday we went in to Regina to go to Church and then had lunch at Laura and Wilf's house. After lunch we took the kids swimming. the kids had so much fun, we ended up staying for about two and a half hours, and Zane still did not want to leave. We did a little shopping and then had supper at Pizza Hut, the dessert at Dairy Queen. we got home about 7:45 and the kids were all sleeping by 8. all the swimming tired them out.

We went to a pumpkin patch and corn maize just west of Regina, we did not pick a very warm day, the wind was really cold.

Visit with Austin

We were able to spend a few days with Austin this last week. It was so nice to see him, we haven't had very many pictures over the years so it was a different seeing him all grown up. We stayed in Medicine Hat for a few days and he got to see Auntie Jackie and he had fun playing with his cousins. we came home for a couple of days too, so Austin got to see where we live. here are a few pic of the time we spent together. We are very happy that we were able to spend time with him, just wish it it could have been longer. we already miss him and will continue to miss him until we get to see him again.

ember's birthday

Ember turned seven on May 24. we had her birthday party on the following weekend. she invited five girls, and we took them into regina to go swimming, then we went to pizza hut and then we came home for cake and presents, and then a sleep over. it was a long day but everything went very well. Ember opened up her gifts one of them was a basket for her bike and a new bike helmet. got her to go outside to up the basket on her bike but when she went to where she left her bike, there was a brand new one in its place.

Mystic

just a pic of my dog at Grandma and Grandpa Fleming's at Easter, she was being so good, I had to take a pic.

Easter at Grandma & Grandpa Fleming's

We went to Weyburn and had Easter dinner. We spent the afternoon visiting and the kids playing. the kids were lucky because the Easter Bunny hid some eggs for them. It was a good day and the kids had to much chocolate but no one had a tummy ache.

Sunday, April 08, 2007

This morning Ember was up at 7am. She was already 'on the hunt' when Jay got up with Zane. He made her put all of her treasure back until the boys got up! When we all were ready, the kids took turns hunting for eggs that the easter bunny cleverly hid. Zane's were out in the open...Zander's were pretty easy too, but Ember had to look for hers as she is getting older and the bunny thought it would be more fun that way. Ember got a Strwberry shortcake basket of goodies, Zander's was spiderman and Zane got ripped off with just a bunny.
After the inside was cleaned out, we took to the great outdoors and braved the frigid cold and frost. The kids laughed as the eggs were covered in frost and Jay was cold and wimped out by giving the kids hints to find the eggs so we could go back inside and warm up. They all had a blast and then we went back inside to get ready to go to Grandma's.
